Julia Gay

Julia trained in the UK, both in Acting and Musical Theatre (Tring Park and Guildford School of Acting) before completing her Masters in Acting and Voice Coaching at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She has 15 years of experience as an acting, voice and movement coach, working for theatre companies and drama schools. Julia is incredibly passionate about creating a fun, safe and imaginative environment for people to gain confidence, express themselves and have a good time in the process! She has been teaching Acting courses in Act Attack in Barcelona, since 2021.

Marcela Variani

Marcela is an Italian/Brazilian philosophical counselor, writer, traveler, artist, and educational researcher. She graduated with a teacher’s degree in Philosophy at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (BR), completed her Master’s degree in Pedagogy of Expression at the University of Roma Tre (IT) and her second Master’s degree in Philosophy for Children at the University of the Azores (PT). She is currently studying Therapeutic Theater at Espailúdic, the Gestalt School of Catalunya. She has been facilitating a Self-Expression, Improvisation & Gibberish classes in partnership with Act Attack, since 2019.

Evangelos Lalos

Evangelos fell in love with theatre when he as a kid atended a theatre play in his home island of Rhodes and a huge blue medusa came towards his seat. Since then he has seen countless plays and he has been member of theatre groups in Greece , Denmark and Spain either as an actor or director. He has studied acting in DAMU, Prague and directing in RESAD, Madrid and when he is not teaching theatre he is creating plays always thinking about this impactful medusa moment. Evangelos has been teaching Acting courses for Act Attack in Madrid, since 2021.

Elana Shyong

Elana is an applied theatre facilitator, teacher trainer, and drama teacher. She is Taiwanese-American and grew up internationally, an upbringing that led her to discover that for her, theatre is less about performing on stage and more about the transformation it can make within people and within spaces. She obtained her bachelors and masters respectively in acting and drama from University of London institutions and currently sits on the board of the International Students Theatre Association. Since then she has worked with people from all over the world, from Taipei to New York City, working to unlock their creative potential in a dynamic and truly fun way. Elana has been teaching Dance Attack courses for Act Attack in Barcelona, since 2022.

Ellie Spyropoulou

Ellie is a professional dancer, teacher, performer and choreographer. After completing her studies in classical dance and obtaining a certification from Vaganova Dance Academy, she decided to explore and continue her dance studies in a variety of dance styles and cultures, such as hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical jazz, Latin Ballroom and street Latin dances. Her long lasting working, performing and teaching experience allow her to develop a unique holistic approach of how dance as an art can be at the same time the mean and the goal of expression and creation. A large part of her projects concerns the dance dramatization of films and books, thus emphasizing even more in the interpretive dimension. Ellie has been teaching Dance Attack courses for Act Attack in Barcelona, since 2022.

Jennifer Mathie

Jennifer has appeared in the Broadway National Tours of Chicago, Monty Pythons Spamalot, Fosse, and White Christmas. She was also a Radio City Rockette, and a Featured Showgirl in Follies at City Center Encores. Jennifer has performed in numerous TV commercials and films including EBay, Hoover Vacuum, Law & Order SVU, The Sopranos, The Stepford Wives and Hitch. She was a student of Stella Adler School for Acting. Jennifer continues to teach Nationally and loves to inspire and guide the next generation of students. She has been teaching Acting courses in Act Attack in Barcelona, since 2020.
